Kalki 2898 AD in North America: All-time 5th and fastest to achieve this rare feat

Prabhas and Deepika Padukone-starrer blockbuster sci-fi drama, Kalki 2898 AD, has achieved yet another major milestone in its glorious box office journey. The Nag Ashwin directorial has entered the rare $15 million gross club in North America on the 10th day of its release.

Kalki 2898 AD reported an hourly gross of $140,218 from 256 locations across the USA and Canada at 6 AM to surpass the $15M mark. With this, Kalki has emerged as the all-time fifth highest grosser and also the fastest ever Indian movie to achieve this feat in North America.

In the list of all-time highest grossing Indian movies in North America, Kalki is next only to Baahubali 2 ($20.7M), Pathaan ($17.4M), RRR ($15.3M), and Jawaan ($15.2M}. While Kalki is sure to cross Jawaan, RRR, and Pathaan’s lifetime collection, whether it will cross Baahubali 2’s collection to become the all-time highest grossing Indian movie in North America remains to be seen.

Kalki 2898 AD, also starring Indian cinema legends Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, Sobhana, Disha Patani, Anna Ben, Pasupathy, and several others in key roles, is produced by Ashwini Dutt. Santhosh Narayanan is the film’s music composer.
