PAN India star Prabhas has set the screens ablaze with the mythological sci-fi entertainer Kalki 2898 AD. The movie is having a terrific run at the ticket windows and has turned out to be a golden goose for the distributors. Nag Ashwin’s directorial has already become the second highest grosser of Prabhas. The movie has now entered its second weekend, holding a massive number of theatres across territories.
The latest update from the production house is that this Prabhas starrer has amassed 800 crores gross at the worldwide box office. The movie is well on track to become the third 1000-crore grosser from Tollywood after Baahubali: The Conclusion and RRR. Fans are eagerly waiting for the film to cross this magical figure.
Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Shobana, Pasupathy, Rajendra Prasad, and Anna Ben played crucial roles. Produced by Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies, Santhosh Narayanan provided the tunes. This mytho-sci-fi spectacle is now playing in theatres in 2D, 3D, and IMAX formats.
