Salaar: Ticket rates hiked in Nizam and Andhra Pradesh; Here are the details

The PAN Indian biggie Salaar, headlined by Prabhas, is up for a grand release this Friday. The makers have applied for ticket hikes in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and hence, there is a delay in the online bookings. The Telangana government approved a hike of Rs. 65 for the single screens and Rs. 100 for multiplexes. These hikes are applicable for one week, i.e., from 22nd December to 28th December.

Also, six shows can be screened on day one in Nizam, and a few select theatres (around 20 theatres in the state) are allowed to screen Salaar from 1:00 AM. On the other hand, the Andhra government approved a hike of Rs. 40 for the first ten days from the date of release.

This move by both states’ governments will surely boost Salaar’s box office collection. The Prashanth Neel directorial features Prithviraj Sukumaran in another vital role. Hombale Films backed this action drama.
