Tollywood’s renowned actor and pan-Indian star, Prabhas, is currently immersed in the production of his upcoming movies – Kalki 2898 AD and The Raja Saab. Meanwhile, his recently released super hit, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, has been causing a sensation on the OTT platform.
Salaar made its OTT debut on Netflix on January 20, 2024, in all major Indian languages except Hindi. Since its release, the movie has garnered massive viewership, propelling it to the No. 1 position on Netflix India.
While the Telugu and Tamil versions occupy the top two positions, the Kannada and Malayalam versions hold the 5th and 7th spots in the latest Netflix India charts. The OTT viewership is expected to continue rising over the next few days.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar features a star-studded cast, including Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tinu Anand, Eshwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, and others in pivotal roles. Ravi Basrur is the musical genius behind this Hombale Films production.
