Prabhas prays at  Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple. Prabhas, accompanied by Producer Vijay Kirangadur of Hombale Films, partook in a spiritual visit to the revered Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple in Dakshina Kannada district, Karnataka, on Friday.

The blockbuster success of Hombale Films' Salaar, with a remarkable global gross exceeding Rs 705 crore within the initial 20 days of its release, has brought both Prabhas and Vijay Kirangadur to the temple to express their gratitude.


The duo arrived at the temple at around 5.30 pm, receiving a warm welcome from the temple authorities. Temple hereditary archak Sriharinarayanadasa Asranna shared insights into the temple's significance, while Hereditary Archak Ananthapadmanabha Asranna presented prasadam, a saree offered to the Goddess, and a photograph.

Insiders reveal that Vijay Kirangadur has a profound devotion to Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari, making it a tradition to visit the temple before the movie's release to seek divine blessings. Following the film's successful release, it has become customary for him to revisit the temple, often accompanied by the movie's lead actor, Prabhas.


The Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple holds a distinguished status among Karnataka's prominent temples and is recognized for its substantial revenue collection. Attracting thousands of devotees, the temple is particularly renowned for its Yakshagana Seve, adding cultural and spiritual significance to its revered presence.
