Hyderabad, January 11 - Pan India superstar Prabhas is basking on the big success of the action drama "Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire", directed by Prashanth Neel. The film has grossed over 600 crores at the worldwide box office and has become one of the biggest Indian grosser of 2023.
Prabhas will next be seen in director Nag Ashwin's sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD and the announcement regarding the same along with a teaser is around the corner. It is learned that the teaser of the film has been censored with a 'U/A' certificate today, January 11 by CBFC with an approved runtime of 1 minute and 23 seconds.
A couple of days ago, the makers announced the countdown of the release date announcement in a unique way and it is said that the official date will be revealed on January 12. Meanwhile, the rumours making rounds that the epic movie will be hitting worldwide theatres on May 9, 2024, in multiple national and international languages.
Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, Kalki 2898 AD is an epic mythological-science fiction dystopian film that stars an ensemble cast featuring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in key roles. Made on a budget of around 500 crores, it is one of the most expensive Indian films ever.
