Released on December 22 amid unprecedented hype and expectations, hero Prabhas’ pan-India action drama, Salaar: Ceasefire, has emerged as a huge money-spinner at the box office worldwide. The Prashanth Neel directorial has already surpassed the Rs 500 crore gross milestone globally.
Now, the latest trade updates from the Nizam region reveal that Salaar collected a share of Rs 1.13 crore on its 7th day and has amassed a humongous Rs 61 crore share (incl GST) in its opening week across the Nizam region. The film is next only to Rajamouli’s RRR, and is also the only Telugu along with RRR and Baahubali 2 to surpass the Rs 50 crore share milestone in Nizam.
Salaar is still running to packed houses across Nizam, and is aiming a solid second week at the box offices in the region. The reduced ticket rates and the New Year’s Eve weekend should drastically improve the film’s collections throughout this week.
