The film "Salaar," featuring Prabhas, has stormed into the box office and set new records with its groundbreaking opening. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the movie made an impressive debut by earning Rs 90 crore on its release day. However, it witnessed a decrease of more than 60 percent in collections on the following day, accumulating an estimated Rs 55 crore on Saturday. As of now, the film's total collection in India stands at a whopping Rs 145.70 crores. Globally, "Salaar" has grossed an impressive Rs 295 crore within just two days.

This action-packed extravaganza by Rebel Star Prabhas has been surpassing various records and contributing significantly to collections, especially in the Nizam area, where it is distributed by Mythri Movie Makers. Within two days, "Salaar" reached a share of 30 Cr in the Nizam area, with collections of 22.55 Cr on day one and 11.05 Cr on day two, totaling 33.60 Cr. Overall, the movie garnered a share of 71.52 Cr in the Telugu states.

Expectations are high for "Salaar" as it continues its successful run at the box office, especially with a boost anticipated on Sunday and day four, coinciding with the Christmas holiday.

This action-thriller marked the biggest opening for an Indian film in the current year, surpassing the openings of Shah Rukh Khan’s "Jawan" and "Pathan," Vijay’s "Leo," and Rajinikanth’s "Jailer." Notably, "Salaar’s" global debut earnings of Rs 179 crore surpassed the Rs 140 crore global gross of Prabhas' previous film, "Adipurush." While "Pathaan" earned Rs 57 crore on its first day in India, "Jawan" and "Animal" reported openings of Rs 75 crore and Rs 63 crore, respectively.

Prabhas, eager for success after his earlier high-budget films like "Saaho," "Radhe Shyam," and "Adipurush" faced setbacks, is looking forward to his upcoming projects. Following "Salaar," he is set to star in "Kalki 2898 AD," reportedly the most expensive Indian film produced. Additionally, he will feature in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s "Spirit" and reprise his role as "Salaar" in a second installment, promising an exciting lineup ahead.
