It looks like there’s no stopping pan-India hero Prabhas’ star power. The macho hunk’s just released action drama, Salaar: Ceasefire, is turning out to be a huge money-spinner at the global box office. In North America in particular, Salaar is posting record collections in its opening weekend.
As per the latest trade updates, Salaar has collected a whopping $5 million in North America. With this, Prabhas has become the first South Indian actor to have three $5 million grossers in the USA and Canada. Baahubali and Baahubali 2 are the two other Prabhas-starrers that crossed the $5 million milestone in this region. Salaar is the 4th Telugu movie to enter the $5M club, apart from the Baahubali franchise and RRR.
On the other hand, Prabhas mania is storming not only the South, but even the North Indian belt is witnessing record daily collections for Salaar. The Prashanth Neel directorial has grossed nearly Rs 300 crore in just 2 days of its theatrical release.
