PAN Indian action drama Salaar starring Prabhas, is hitting the big screens on December 22, 2023. The movie is releasing in major Indian languages. Prashanth Neel’s previous film KGF 2, earned more than 50 crores nett in Hindi on the opening day, which was an all-time record at that time.
But now the situation isn’t the same as the Prabhas starrer is clashing with SRK’s Dunki. Salaar will have to share shows with Dunki in single screens, and the final screen count will have an effect on the opening. We need to see whether or not Dunki and Salaar will have an equal showcasing in the single screens.
Also, one should note that Salaar is coming a day after Dunki. This means the word of mouth of Dunki would have already come into play by the time Salaar releases. Hence the result of Dunki will also be a key for Salaar’s opening.
Salaar has till now raked in 2.5 crores from its pre-sales for the Hindi version with a day left for release. Salaar stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Eswari Rao, and others in key roles.
