Salaar, headlined by PAN India star Prabhas, took the second-biggest opening of all time in the Nizam region. The action drama directed by Prashanth Neel raked in a mindblowing 22.55 crores (inclusive of GST) share on its first day in this region. The first-day collections of Salaar in Telangana are next only to the massive multistarrer RRR.
Nizam has always been a strong forte for Prabhas, and once again, the actor showcased his star power with mind-blowing numbers on day one. Salaar did a staggering pre-release business in the Nizam area, and hence the movie needs to hold well in the coming days to reach the breakeven mark.
Prithviraj Sukumaran played a very important role in this film. Audiences are loving the action avatar of Prabhas. A few are commenting that it’s a pleasure to see the macho star in an out-and-out mass entertainer, which perfectly suits his image. Hombale Films bankrolled this big-ticket venture. Salaar marks the first collaboration between Prabhas and Neel.
