Prabhas is undoubtedly a darling of the masses and is leaving no stone unturned to make his latest movie, Saaho, a treat for millions of his fans. The interesting aspect of Prabhas’ films post Bahubali is, not only South and North India, but the U.S.A., Japan and Europe are also waiting with bated breath to watch the histrionics of their favourite man.
With both the Shades Of Saaho chapters being released on Prabhas’ and Shraddha Kapoor’s birthdays in October 2018 and March 2019 respectively, Team Saaho has thrown a veritable challenge to the fans to guess which genre it is to which the movie belongs?
Both the chapters of Shades of Saaho showed lot of car racing, guns being aimed at people and Prabhas walking with a swagger in the end credits. A lot of police vans are shown colliding with motor vehicles in a long drawn chasing sequence. Both the videos showed behind the scenes stories of how the cameras were placed, how Sujeeth explained the stunt scene to key co ordinators and how they responded to the challenges thrown at them by the director.
The makers of Saaho deliberately kept the genre a secret, notwithstanding the general belief of it being an action entertainer. In the main chapter too, Prabhas walks in a manner which is both imposing and strangely awe inspiring. Does he play a police officer or a gangster?
Shradhha too rushes into the frame with a revolver and shoots into the camera. Is she a part of a rival gang or Prabhas’ gang, if any?
The answers will be known on August 15th, 2019. However, as the Saaho teaser releases on June 13th, 2019, we will get some clarity about the genre of the movie—is it a thriller, action drama or murder thriller?
