It’s been a little over two weeks since Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s blockbuster sci-fi drama, Kalki 2898 AD, was released. The film has surpassed the Rs 1,000 crore gross milestone globally and is all set to enter the list of all-time top five highest grossing Indian movies.
Continuing its dream run, Kalki has beaten Rajamouli’s RRR’s full-run collection at all the national multiplexes in Hyderabad by a huge margin, and that too within three weeks. While Kalki grossed about Rs 33.50 crore, RRR’s full-run collection was around Rs 30.25 crore, thereby overtaking RRR by more than 3 crore.
The show has not ended yet, and Kalki is all set to touch the Rs 40 crore mark at the national multiplexes in Hyderabad by the end of its theatrical run. The Nag Ashwin directorial has picked up pace during its third weekend and is set to collect huge across the state.
