Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD: Amitabh Bachchan plays Ashwatthama in the film

PAN Indian star Prabhas will next be seen in the mega-budget sci-fi entertainer Kalki 2898 AD. The film is surrounded by humongous expectations across the nation. Nag Ashwin, who helmed the cult classic Mahanati, is its director.

As promised, the makers launched a new glimpse featuring Bollywood’s Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan. He plays Dhronacharya’s son, Ashwatthama, in this film. In the glimpse, a kid asks Big B if he is immortal. Amitabh says he is Ashwathamma and that he has been waiting for Dashavathar (Kalki) since Dwapar Yug.

The glimpse is impactful, making us look forward to the film. The visuals look grand, and the music by Santosh Narayanan creates curiosity. Amitabh Bachchan’s screen presence is terrific, and his solid dialogue delivery evokes goosebumps. From the glimpse, it is clear the movie is a mix of mythology and sci-fi.

If the final product is as good as the glimpse, then the sky will be the limit for box office rampage. Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, and others are playing vital roles. Aswani Dutt is the producer. The release date is yet to be locked.
