‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ a high-budget pan-world movie, is creating waves of excitement with Prabhas as the lead hero and the reputable production house, Vyjayanthi Movies, backing the project with its 50-film experience.
With a whopping budget of Rs. 550 crores, the first glimpses of the film were unveiled at a grand event in America, captivating audiences worldwide. Originally Kalki 2898 AD conceived as a single film, the shooting expenses unexpectedly surpassed the initial estimate of 500 crores. This prompted producer Ashwini Dutt and director Nag Ashwin to rethink the project’s scope. To ensure the movie’s financial success, they collectively decided to split it into two parts. The film’s captivating narrative and breathtaking visuals will be served in two servings to the eager audience. The first part is scheduled for a summer 2024 release, with the second part potentially hitting theaters in 2025.
