With the epic success of Baahubali, Rebel Star Prabhas established his position as a pan Indian star. It was just the beginning and Bollywood producers are queuing up to block Prabhas’s dates. The Saaho actor’s diary is already packed with the films like Radhe Shyam, Adipurush, Salaar, Project K and Spirit. Still a number of movie makers are lining up with proposals of huge budgeted projects to bank on the Telugu talent.
Three of the above mentioned Prabhas movies are being produced by Bhushan Kumar of T Series. One of which is Prabhas’ 25th project Spirit, which is expected to hit floors in 2023. Bhushan Kumar also co-produces Prabhas’s soon releasing Radhe Shyam. He is also producing the mythology drama Adipurush with Prabhas under the direction of Om Raut. Now he is bankrolling Spirit, a cop drama, with Prabhas and talented Tollywood director Sandeep Vanga. The movie will be on sets after Prabhas completes Project K and another film to which he committed.
“Prabhas is a pan India actor and I want to work on films which are pan Indian. Saaho didn’t do the expected range of business, still that was a hit business of Hindi movies. Adipurush is tailor made for Prabhas as Lord Ram, expecting to release it in 2022. ”, Bhushan Kumar explained.
“Sandeep Reddy Vanga made Kabir Singh and he knows the North Indian audiences’ pulse. Now, Spirit will be a great film. Prabhas is playing a cop for the first time in it.”, the T Series CMD revealed.
