Saaho Telugu Movie Review

Prabhas, the name has become a brand post the Bahubali series and now it has hit sky high with Saaho. The man and his perseverance to pick up a novice like Sujeeth and give him a chance to show his vision regarding the various technical aspects of the movie has really paid off.

It is but natural, a film of this stature should generate such hype, with world class creative graphics, coupled with Prabhas’ image as an action hero. The movie also makes a proper debut for Prabhas in Hindi and is a herald of sorts for things coming in the future.

Review:

Saaho is a treat to watch. The movie is mounted to be a blockbuster, with uber cool technology and creative effects, with the help of the best cinematography. The film comes out trumps, with its package and other technical aspects. Saaho is a sureshot contender for the Best Sound Mix, Best Cinematography and Best Special Effects at the upcoming 67th National Film Awards in 2020.

Prabhas is a man who creates believability with his huge physique, action sequences and performance. As an undercover police officer, he excels with his swag and attitude, which a film like Saaho needs badly.

Much screen space is dedicated to Prabhas and his exploits. Jackie Shroff plays his role impressively Saaho.

Shraddha Kapoor gets comparatively less screen space, but her vibes with Prabhas are believable and both the actors gel well with each other in both romantic and action sequences.

The background score of Saaho is topnotch. Ghibran is definitely becoming a force to be reckoned with in modern cinema, with his new sound design.

The movie has a huge supporting cast, spearheaded by Neil Nitin Mukesh, who is clearly the star and gets much time and makes the audience take notice of his action sequences. He proves to be the best choice against Prabhas. Among the supporting cast, Chunky Panday, another mafia don, impresses with his presence.

Overall, Saaho is a dream come true for young director Sujeeth, who will now be definitely flooded with offers from Bollywood to direct an action flick. The before interval scene of bike chase, which “Prabhas did without a body double to save Shraddha Kapoor from goons” is a landmark one and would remain in the mind for ages. This is a masterstroke by Sujeeth in conceiving a shot.

Saaho is a Prabhas extravaganza which everyone who partakes cinema should watch with wonder and admiration.

The effort pays off and how! Go hit your nearby theatres this week and celebrate Saaho. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a cinegoer!
