SS Rajamouli's dream venture Baahubali might have been India's most expensive film till date but the film has also brought in amazing revenues at the box office. The film has shattered many pre-existing records already and has zoomed into the Rs 500 crore worldwide. Latest reports suggest that the film has also overtaken Dhoom 3 worldwide gross to become the third highest grossing Indian film ever.
Dhoom 3 which earned around Rs 280 crore nett at the domestic box office had a whopping worldwide collections of Rs 542 crore which looked almost impossible to be beaten. But the film has now beaten, not once but twice. Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan had dethroned Dhoom 3 a week ago and has already collected over Rs 565 crore at the worldwide box office.
Baahubali, with its great collections on Sunday amassed a humongous Rs 545 crore gross at the global box office, which means that the film has now overtaken Aamir's record with Dhoom 3. The film now ranks as the third highest grossing Indian film, after Aamir Khan's PK and Salman's BB.
