"Baahubali" has been simultaneously made in Tamil and
Telugu. Its known that the film was titled as Mahaabali
in Tamil. But as per the sources Rajamouli and team has
decided to change the title for Tamil version. They want
to change the title of Mahabali and wants to continue
with Baahubali title itself.
The Tamil version of the film also creating excellent
buzz in social media.The film has become more familiar
to Tamil crowd as Baahbauli than Mahaabali. So makers
don’t want to miss the tempo by giving Mahaabali as
title and decided to continue with Baahubali.
The sudden name change is said to be strategic
marketing strategy from the makers. According to
sources, they wish to go with the same ‘Baahubali’
brand name in the Tamil market. This makes the
impression of the film more acute and sharp.
Bahubali is originally scheduled for a release in April but
it is postponed as it is not completed yet. Tamil version
date of Bahubali release is announced as 22 nd May. The
Kollywood rights of the film have been acquired by
Studio Green for a record price. The multilingual movie,
which is produced by K Raghavendra Rao, has MM
Keeravani's music.
