'Baahubali has no historical connect' -Says Rana Dagupatti

Being a period film set in the backdrop of kings and
kingdoms, cine lovers will be fascinated to know about
the parts of Indian history director Rajamouli moulded as
a story for his magnum opus 'Baahubali'. For your kind
information, this film has no reference to any known
Indian history of those medieval ages.
From the teasers and making videos, we could easily
figure out that Bahubali is a period war film inspired
from characters and scenes from Mahabharata and
Ramayana, the godly scriptures of India. 'Baahubali is a
period film with a pan Indian appeal and set to show
Indian medieval wars to the world. It has no historical
connect with any kingdom or kings and is just fictional',
says Rana Daggubati, the lead villain of the movie.

Rana will be seen playing Ballaladeva, the prime enemy
of Bahubali and his father. He has put on oodles of
weight and carved his body into six pack for playing this
role before learning sword fighting, archery, wrestling
and horse riding for the role.
