Rebel Star Prabhas' Salaar Part 1 : Ceasefire has created havoc at the boxoffice in its first ten days. After the new year's Eve the film gets slowed down but managed to recover most of the investments by the buyers with its terrific first week at the ticket windows. It's clash with Shahrukh Khan's Dunki has restricted it's numbers in Hindi language. The film has crossed Rs 600 Crores gross worldwide with majority contributing from South states.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, this action-packed drama stars Shruti Haasan as the female lead. Despite initial speculations that Netflix might stream the blockbuster Salaar during the Sankranthi festival, it didn't happened. However, a new buzz circulating on social media is now suggesting that Salaar could be available for streaming on Netflix starting February 4, 2024. But, there has been no official confirmation regarding this speculation.
Salaar Part 2 : Shauryaanga Parvam is expected to hit the floors from summer and team is planning to release it in December this year. Reports suggest that 40% of the film has been shot along with Part 1. New casting additions to be made and the team is pondering about potential actors to add more value and hype for the film.
Salaar boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sriya Reddy, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Easwari Rao, and Tinnu Anand in pivotal roles. Produced by Hombale Films, Salaar is further enriched by the musical brilliance of Ravi Basrur.
