"Salaar" has not only achieved great success in the domestic box office but is also breaking new records in the USA and other international markets.
On its initial day in North America, "Salaar" generated an impressive $3.7 million, surpassing the total earnings of "Saaho" ($3.2 million) and "Aadi Purush" ($3.1 million).
The combined box office revenue for the Thursday premiere and Friday screenings of "Salaar" amounts to $3,759,055.
The film is projected to generate an additional $1.5 million or more in revenue on Saturday. The initial weekend figure is expected to be huge.
"Baahubali 2" is the biggest hit in Prabhas's career with a massive $20 million gross, while "Baahubali The Beginning" is the second most successful one ($7million).
Currently, "Salaar" has already achieved the third highest box office earnings on its first day. In the upcoming days, it will generate millions of additional money.
Prashanth Neel's "Salaar" garnered hype prior to release as the director has gained a lot of craze with his “KGF” movies, and Prabhas has not looked this good since the release of “Baahubali 2”.
No wonder the film clicked with the youth and the masses, driving the collections.
Despite stiff competition from Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki”, considered the king of overseas, Prabhas’s film amassed this revenue.
“Dunki” didn’t cross $2 million on the first day; it grossed $1,769,747.
