Hero Prabhas’ highly-anticipated pan-India action drama, Salaar Ceasefire, opened in cinemas worldwide this morning amid unprecedented hype and expectations. The film is registering massive day 1 numbers in the domestic and overseas destinations, and is wiping off several opening day records in all the centres.
According to the latest trade updates, Salaar has collected a staggering Rs 20 crore plus share in the Nizam region on its opening day. With such a spectacular opening, Salaar has occupied the second spot in the list of all-time highest opening day grossers in the Nizam region after RRR (Rs 24 Cr). This is just the beginning and Salaar will surely surpass several existing first weekend records across the globe.
Thanks to director Prashanth Neel’s vision and presentation, Salaar has ended Prabhas fans’ long wait to witness their favorite star setting the silver screens ablaze in an out-and-out mass and rugged avatar. The film is expected to collect a sensational Rs 150 plus crore gross across India on day 1. Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Jagapathi Babu played key roles in this Hombale Films’ production.
