Complete Domination Of 'Salaar' This Weekend!

It is the biggest release of this year and Prabhas has mightily impressed the fans big time.

The theatres have been quite busy in December with quality releases in quick succession. It started with Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' on December 1st and it is followed by movies like 'Hi Nanna', 'Extra Ordinary Man' and others. The biggest clash at the Indian box office happened a few days back and it resulted in the cash registers ringing non-stop.

The first place among the movies running in theatres was occupied by 'Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire'. It is the biggest release of this year and Prabhas has mightily impressed the fans big time. The paid premiers, special shows and ticket hikes have massively helped the movie. It collected over 175 crores on the first day and the collections amounted to 400 crores gross worldwide already. With the Christmas holiday becoming an advantage, the movie is expected to create records at the box office. Prasanth Neel's directorial will also have a second part and it will come out on after a year or two.

Shah Rukh Khan's much-awaited 'Dunki' which was released a day before 'Salaar' is doing well too. Though it is not getting as much as SRK's previous releases like 'Jawan' and 'Pathan', the movie grossed over 157.2 crores in just 4 days. The movie is running decently well and the free run till the New Year will massively help as well. Considering the budget, it is a good hit. It took the second place.

After collecting a gross of 860 crores in 24 days, 'Animal' has slowed down at the box office. Though the movie might not get over 1000 crores, it is still one of the biggest hits in Bollywood and it achieved such huge collections with an 'A' certificate and huge criticism. Ranbir Kapoor played the hero while Sandeep Reddy Vanga is the director. Due to the competition with 'Dunki' and 'Salaar', the Hollywood film 'Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom' did not get a lot of shows. The film did not get a positive response and the limited screening will not help the movie's box-office prospects. Nani's 'Hi Nanna' took the fifth spot as it is attracting the family audience and kids. This emotional drama already grossed 65 crores and is doing decently well even now.
