2023 is going to end with a bang as pan-Indian hero Prabhas is going to arrive with his full-fledged action flick titled 'Salaar'. Also, it is going to compete with Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' which made things even spicier. Coming to 'Salaar', fans of the 'Baahubali' hero have pinned a lot of hopes on this movie. With his last three movies like 'Saaho', 'Radhe Shyam' and 'Adipurush' turned out to be disasters, they are hoping that 'Salaar' would give them their much-needed hit. Also, Prasanth Neel shook the nation with his 'KGF 1 & 2'.
The teaser and posters of 'Salaar' raised huge expectations on the movie. With the visuals and vibe looking the same as 'KGF', a lot of netizens made theories suggesting that both these movies are from the same universe. Like 'Lokesh Cinematic Universe', many claimed that Prasanth Neel is also building his own universe and even spread rumors that Rocky Bhai will enter in the second part of 'Salaar'. These rumours have gone viral and people even started believing it.
But Prasanth Neel burst the bubble by revealing that 'Salaar' and 'KGF' are not at all linked. He said that 'Salaar' is about two friends who become rivals. Though he did not reveal a lot about the second part, he made sure that all the rumors are squashed before things got out of hand. Due to this, the audience will enter the theatres with no false notions about the film. While it may disappoint the fans initially, Prasanth Neel's words will surely help 'Salaar' by the time it releases.
Shruti Hassan is the female lead while Ravi Basrur is giving the music. Vijay Kirangadur is producing the movie under Hombale Films banner and Prasanth Neel is the writer and director. Anbariv has choreographed the fights while big names like Bhuvan Gowda, Chalapathi, Ujwal Kulkarni, Ramarao and others have worked on this movie. Jagapathi Babu will be seen as Raja Mannaar and Prithviraj Sukumaran essayed the role of Varadaraaja Mannar.
