Prabhas’ upcoming action thriller movie ‘Salaar’ is definitely one of the most anticipated Indian movies of 2023. The film was previously slated for a theatrical release on 28th September, but there were talks of a certain delay in the film’s release. And earlier today, the makers have officially announced that ‘Salaar’ has been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.
Although the exact reason for the release delay hasn’t been specifically mentioned, it was earlier reported that the post-production related delay is mostly because more than 300 VFX shots were yet to be delivered. But that’s not officially confirmed. As per some reports, the new release date of ‘Salaar’ will be around the Diwali weekend in the month of November, but an official announcement is eagerly awaited in this regard. And in case that happens, ‘Salaar’ will have a box-clash with another biggie – Salman Khan’s spy action movie ‘Tiger 3’, which is set to be released on 10th November.
‘Salaar’ has been directed by the man behind the immensely successful ‘K.G.F’ film series – Prashanth Neel. The movie’s plot ostensibly revolves around a gang leader who locks horns with other dangerous gangs in order to fulfill his dying friend’s last wish. Besides Prabhas in the lead role, ‘Salaar’ also features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, and Tinnu Anand, amongst others.
