Prabhas' 'Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire' Advance Booking Starts On A Sensational Note In The USA


Los Angeles, August 22 - Indian movies are set to conquer the USA box office in the month of September, as after Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan", which is scheduled to release on September 7, Prabhas-fronted "Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire" has taken a super strong start in the pre-sales there.

The advance booking of "Salaar" was opened some hours back and the initial response is extraordinary. With 37 days still to go for the premieres, the film sold approximately 1400 tickets worth $40.3K from 268 shows in 107 locations within a couple of hours, according to tracker Venky Reviews.

The pre-sales collection of the movie is increasing rapidly with each passing minute which will be reported after official data gets available. Directed by Prashanth Neel, "Salaar" has been planned for a massive release across North America. It has already been confirmed to release in over 1979 locations, including approximately 315 Cinemark theaters which is the widest release for an Indian movie ever.


As for the initial advance booking response, the period action drama film is projected to score, at least, $1.5+ million from premiere shows alone in the USA which is going to be excellent numbers. Overall, the overseas pre-sales of "Salaar" is expected to be one of the highest ever for an Indian title, and if the talks are positive, then expect unheard numbers at the box office.

The film is produced by Hombale Films and it also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, and Tinnu Anand, among others in key roles. It is scheduled to release on September 28, 2023, in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam, languages.
