Prabhas-Fronted 'Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire' Post-Production Shifts To A New Location

Bengaluru, August 21 - Piracy has been a big issue for the film industry as it has become a challenge for filmmaker to keep their projects safe from getting leaked in parts. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan", which is scheduled to release on September 7, has faced such challenges as many set pics as well as video clips have been leaked online, and to prevent such things, makers had to take a legal route.

Prabhas-fronted "Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire", which is probably the biggest Pan India movie of the year at the moment, has reportedly shifted the post-production to a different place to safeguard the movie. According to Pinkvilla, "Jawan" leakage made other filmmakers aware and they are now taking extra steps in this regard.

"It's a formidable task to safeguard films' scenes and visuals as the leaks can originate from anywhere, despite all the implemented protections. Director Prashanth Neel has adopted a robust approach to protect the content of Salaar while it's in post-production. He has relocated all post-production activities to Basroor village in Karnataka, where the studio of the film's music director, Ravi Basrur, is located", says the report.

Directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Hombale Films, "Salaar - Ceasefire" is just a little over a month to go. The makers haven't started the fill-fledged promotions which are expected to begin from early September. The teaser was recently launched and the team is now working on the trailer which is expected to be released in the first week of September.

"Salaar" features Prabhas in the title role alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand, and Sriya Reddy, among others in key roles. The movie is scheduled to release on September 28, in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam, languages.
