Prabhas' Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire is the next big thing in the Tollywood industry and for the entire country who are looking up to Prashanth Neel, to bring Prabhas on track.
The recently released teaser of Salaar: Ceasefire has crossed 105 million views on YouTube, making it the most viewed teaser in the country. After a disaster like Adipurush, Prabhas is hoping to make it up with Salaar.
To cash in on the craze and to make use of the opportunity of telling Salaar's story in a more fashionable and detailed way, the filmmakers-Hombale Films and Prashanth Neel decided to bring out Salaar in two parts. The first part is named 'Ceasefire.' The movie stars Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran in the antagonist's role.
Salaar's first part will hit the screens on September 28 worldwide in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. As per the available information and the ongoing trend on social media, Salaar's sequel aka Salaar 2 will hit the screens during the summer of 2024. Salaar stars Prabhas as Salaar, Prithviraj Sukumaran as Vardharaja Mannaar, Shruti Haasan as Aadya, Tinnu Anand, Jagapathi Babu as Raja Mannaar, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, Ramachandra Raju, Madhu Guruswamy, Saptagiri, Prudhvi Raj, and Jhansi among others in key characters.
Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films is bankrolling the project on a budget of about Rs 200 Crore. Ravi Basrur is working on the film's background score and music. Bhuvan Gowda is the cinematographer.
In addition to Salaar, Prabhas is also working on India's biggest and most prestigious production, Project K. In this sci-fi film by Nag Ashwin, Prabhas will be seen with Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. Project K is an official entrant at the Comic-Con 2023.
Also, the actor is filming for Raja Deluxe, a horror-comedy directed by Maruthi. The pre-production works of Prabhas' 25th film titled Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga will begin once Ranbir Kapoor's Animal work is finished.
