'Salaar' is a massive action flick that Prabhas is doing right now and Prasanth Neel is the director. The movie's shooting is nearing the end and the post-production work is happening simultaneously as well. Vijay Kirangadur from Homebale Films is bankrolling this high-budget movie. 'Salaar' is getting made in two parts and the first part is all set to hit the screens on 28th September. There are massive expectations on this flick.
The pre-release business of this film is already underway and there is a lot of competition regarding the theatrical rights of this film in various languages. The trade pundits are predicting 600 crores of money through theatrical rights and the success of 'Adipurush' will propel the theatrical rights of 'Salaar' even further. Sources say that 'Geetha Arts' is fighting hard to acquire theatrical rights in the Telugu states. The discussions are currently going on and clarity is expected to come out soon. If Geetha Arts manage to get the Telugu rights, the movie may get even more hype as Allu Aravind is an expert in marketing films.
Also, Aravind holds a major share of theatres in Telugu states and he will be a huge plus for 'Salaar'. But he is facing some tough competition with others as well. We need to see who offers the best deal to the makers. Many are expecting the movie to earn more than 1000 crores in theatres. There is a chance that it may break 'RRR' records and we all know what Prasanth Neel is capable of. He proved his stamina with 'KGF' franchise. Prabhas is going on at jet speed these days and let us see how 'Salaar' turns out to be.
