Adipurush was released on June 16th last week and had a good collection over the weekend at the box office. This mythological film was based on the Indian epic Ramayana, written by Valmiki. Bollywood director Om Raut directed the film on a heavy budget, and this is the most expensive Indian film ever made. The film stars Rebel Star Prabhas and Kriti Sanon in roles that are inspired by the epic. The movie had great openings at the box office, earning 140 crores on the first day of its release. The movie has done exceptionally well at the box office, entertaining all audiences.
It has been 4 days since the movie was released, and the audiences enjoyed the film over the weekend. By the end of the third day, Adipurush had set a non-RRR record at the RTC X roads in terms of collections. Adipurush became the second film after RRR to collect the highest collection at RTC X roads on the third day. RRR, the all-time record, collected Rs 66 lakhs on the third day, while Adipurush collected a gross of Rs 34 lakhs at the RTC X Roads.
By this, Adipurush is in second place for the third day’s collections after RRR, and in third place is also a Prabhas starrer film, Saaho, with Rs 28.65 lakhs. Adipurush is successful at the box office and stands proudly in the list at third place after RRR and Baahubali 2. The prestigious banners T-Series, Retrophiles, UV Creations, and People Media Factory have bankrolled this project.
