Prabhas, the Rebel Star and the Darling of Telugu film industry rose to pan Indian fame post the Baahubali franchise (2015 and 2017.) The movie made him the centre of attention in not just the Telugu states but all over India and received phenomenal success in Japan and China. Since then, the actor has been careful in his script selections and has worked on Saaho (2019) which smashed the box office.
Prabhas is actively working on three upcoming films Salaar, Radhe Shyam and Adipurush. Radhe Shyam is a romantic movie starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. Prabhas is working on a romantic movie almost after 11 years, and fans are excited to see him as a lover boy. However, in the light of the present situation with the Coronavirus cases multiplying exponentially, the shooting for Radhe Shyam came to a halt. Prabhas and Krishnam Raju were filming for Radhe Shyam and the movie team decided to postpone the shooting for safety reasons.

Radhe Shyam is a romantic drama set in 1980s Paris. The movie has an ensemble cast of Krishnam Raju, Priyadarshi, Sachin Khedekar, Murli Sharma, Riddhi Kumar, Sasha Chettri, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Sathyan and is jointly produced by UV Creations and Gopi Krishna Movies. Justin Prabhakaran is the music composer of the Telugu version. Mithoon and Manan Bharadwaj are composing tunes for the Hindi version. Radhe Shyam is being shot in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously, and will be dubbed into Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages as well. Radhe Shyam is slated to release on 30th July 2021.
