Sujeeth started his directorial career at the very young age of 23, with the romantic comedy thriller Run Raja Run in 2014, which was received well by the audience. The other directorial big shot film that bought him huge fame was Rebel Star Prabhas’ Saaho. The film was one of the highest grossing movies of 2019, beating many Bollywood movies as well, in the process. After two years, Sujeeth has finally signed his next directorial, which is yet to be titled.
Sujeeth will be joining hands with Zee Studios for their upcoming project and it is touted to be a high voltage drama filled with thrilling action episodes and powerful emotional sequences. Speaking at an interview, Sujeeth said, “I’m very excited to work with Zee Studios on this new project. Saaho was an out and out action movie. But this time I’ll be playing with the emotional angle too in addition to the power packed action sequences. Can’t wait to kick start this one (sic.)”
The CEO of Zee Studios, Shariq Patel said in a statement, “It gives us immense pleasure to associate with the super talented Sujeeth for the upcoming project. He has written a taut thriller with a strong emotional core, and as a studio, we are extremely excited to bring this to life on the big screen. His vision and technical expertise will ensure the film is amongst the most visually spectacular film of 2022 (sic.)”
Other details about the project are currently under wraps. The film is expected to go on the floor during the second half of 2021.
